Heather Davis, MSW, LCSW

Hi, I'm Heather. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and have worked extensively in treating clients suffering from eating disorders.

As an eating disorder survivor, I understand that change is scary! Together we will work to recognize and explore unhelpful patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that may keep you stuck. My goal is to help move you beyond pain and fear into a space that allows you to align with your true values, and tap into your strengths.

I use an integrative and relational approach, tailored to each client’s needs. The modalities I lean on include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and 8 Keys to Recovery from an Eating Disorder. I work with ages 16+ and specialize in treating eating disorders, body image distress, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also support challenges related to stress, life transitions, perfectionism, and self-esteem.

My passions outside of work include my love for dogs and the beach.

I have so much gratitude for you taking this first step - it’s a big one! You do not have to do this alone, give me a call today to see if we are a good fit.
